Thomas was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1999. Since then, he has been in private practice and has acquired extensive experience in different areas of law, including civil litigation, personal injury, commercial law, intellectual property registration, licensing, assignment and enforcement, information technology law and practice, such as, domain name registrations and complaint proceedings.

In addition, Thomas has also assisted well-known corporations and international brand names in protecting and safeguarding their intellectual property rights against trademark, copyright and patent infringements and passing off, both in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He has also handled extensive trademark applications and oppositions.
