Mr. Loh is a qualified flying instructor of light airplanes. He pilots both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters and holds corresponding Private Pilot Licences. Given his experience and passion in aviation, Mr. Loh is keen on promoting an aviation culture in Hong Kong.

 

The Hong Kong Government Industry Department has invited him as a sponsored speaker to attend the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) workshop held in New Zealand. He is again invited as a sponsored member of the Hong Kong delegation in Joint Minister/ Business sector session of the APEC ministerial Meeting on SMEs in Adelaide, Australia. Mr. Loh was also the past member of the Committee on Management and Supervisory Training of the Vocational Training Council.

 

To recognize his commitment to community activities, he is awarded the Hong Kong Cadet Forces Medal for Meritorious Service and Chief Executive’s Commendation for Community Service 2011.

 

He is the Past Chairman of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps (a charity in Hong Kong) and is an examiner appointed by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department for the issue of Private Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
